Intelligent DC Power Supply System
System Overview

The intelligent DC power supply system integrates an AC distribution unit, charging module, feeder unit, battery bank, monitoring unit, voltage and current monitoring instruments, insulation monitoring device, silicon-based voltage reduction circuit, and battery management unit. It serves as a critical component of substation power systems and power plants, providing power for automatic control, power equipment, relay protection, instrumentation, signaling, communication, and emergency lighting systems.

Applications

The DC power supply system is applied in large, medium, and small power plants as well as substations, providing the necessary DC power for high-voltage switch operations (opening/closing), relay protection, automatic control, emergency lighting, illumination, and signaling during both normal operation and fault conditions.

It also serves industries such as metallurgy, railways, mining, petrochemicals, postal services, telecommunications, healthcare, banking, hotels, high-rise buildings, and computer networks. This product complies with the JB/T 57774-2000 standard "General Technical Requirements and Safety Requirements for DC Power Equipment in Power Systems".

System Functional Features
  • Busbar voltage loss compensation: In the event of a DC busbar voltage failure, adaptive zero-delay switching can be activated online to ensure continuous power supply and enhance the self-healing capability of the DC power system.
  • Battery health monitoring: Proactively prevents DC bus power failure caused by internal open circuits in the battery; actively addresses DC bus voltage loss faults resulting from inherent battery defects.
  • Automatic capacity verification: Automates battery capacity verification locally or remotely, reducing personnel requirements.
  • Intelligent diagnostic decision-making: Comprehensive intelligent detection and diagnosis of power equipment.
  • Comprehensive status monitoring: Effectively detects whether the battery has disconnected from the busbar, preventing operations that may cause voltage loss on the DC busbar.
  • Modularized power supply unit: The switch unit consists of a feeder circuit breaker, leakage current transformer (CT), signal lights, data acquisition board, and drawer-type structure, enabling replacement of the switch unit without power interruption.
