Capacity verification through discharge testing remains the most widely recognized method for evaluating battery power capacity. However, traditional on-site verification procedures are cumbersome and consume significant human and material resources, leaving current staffing levels insufficient to meet regulatory maintenance requirements. The remote capacity verification system significantly streamlines this process, enabling efficient completion of battery capacity assessment through discharge testing.

Application Description

Primarily designed to provide AC uninterruptible power supply for various automated systems, signaling devices, communication networks, remote control execution systems, and emergency lighting equipment in critical facilities such as power plants and substations.

System Functional Features
  • The nuclear power system employs battery segmental monitoring technology to ensure uninterrupted DC bus voltage even when individual cells are open-circuited or under-voltage conditions.
  • Monitor parameters including cell internal resistance, interconnect resistance, cell voltage, cell temperature, cell group voltage, and cell group current.
  • Utilize a bidirectional converter module (PCS) to achieve 0.1C (adjustable) grid-fed nuclear capacity discharge, with pre-charging performed before the battery connects to the bus after discharge completion.
  • The nuclear reactor main unit features intelligent charging management capabilities, which prevent battery overcharging and thermal runaway incidents while monitoring the battery open-circuit voltage.
  • Integrated design of the operation and maintenance host; the host communicates with platform software via TCP/IP and supports IEC 61850.
  • Provide a three-tier management platform at the provincial, regional, and station levels, with integrated deployment of DC power monitoring functionality.
  • Utilizes BOOST+LLC isolation boost technology, with parallel CAN connections between isolated power modules achieving a conversion efficiency of over 93%.
  • Maintain the original relationship between the battery pack and the DC busbar without introducing additional fault points; equipped with a manual maintenance bypass switch.
  • The discharge diode features a redundant backup design with an open-circuit detection function.
  • The modular design offers flexible functional combinations, enabling it to independently or simultaneously meet users requirements for "remote battery capacity verification" and "DC bus voltage protection".
